Seven-year-old Mariana desperately wanted to be able to read chapter books and write her letters "pretty like the other girls," but her dyslexia proved a major obstacle. Her parents grew concerned about how this learning difference would impact their daughter's future.
Now, thanks to the GRASP Education Improvement Scholarship Program, Mariana's family can afford for her to attend a private school for children with learning differences, which will give her the confidence and skills she needs to overcome the obstacle of dyslexia.
EISP Scholarships of up to $6,800 per year can help change the trajectory of the lives of young people from low to moderate-income households. Dozens of students like Mariana now have access to an educational environment better suited to their needs through the support of GRASP EISP.
