GRASP Scholarships for Private K-12 Schools in Virginia

GReat Aspirations Scholarship Program (GRASP) offers scholarships through our Education Improvement Scholarship Program for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade to attend a private school in Virginia.  GRASP currently partners with 6 private K-12 schools in Virginia.  Scholarships are renewable, depending upon donor support and assuming the family continues to meet the income requirements set by the Virginia Department of Education. GRASP EISP is not currently accepting new applicants.

To be eligible, an applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Virginia resident from a family whose household income is 300% or less of the federal poverty guideline or, in the case of a student with an IEP, 400% or less, who will be enrolling in a private K-12 school.

How to apply

GRASP is not currently accepting new scholarship applicants. If you have questions, contact Brenda Jackson, GRASP EISP Coordinator, for more information.

GRASP is able to provide these scholarships thanks to the generosity of our donors. GRASP is one of over 40 approved foundations statewide that participate in Virginia’s Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits Program (EISTCP). Through this program, qualified donors may receive a 65% state tax credit, in addition to a possible federal and state charitable deduction.
